Graphic Design: 101

Graphic Design 101 introduces students to the core principles and practices of visual communication. The course covers essential topics such as composition, typography, color theory, branding, and digital imaging. Students will gain hands-on experience using industry-standard software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create logos, posters, layouts, and other design projects. Through lectures, critiques, and studio work, learners will develop a strong understanding of design elements, conceptual thinking, and creative problem-solving. This course lays the foundation for further study in design and prepares students to begin building a professional portfolio.
